"Green Carpet Affair" A Studded Event
After walking a "green carpet" into a private home in Saddle River, NJ, with their glamorous wives, 28 PGA TOUR professionals -- including 2010 winner Matt Kuchar, 2009 champion Heath Slocum, Dustin Johnson, Kenny Perry, Justin Rose and Mark Wilson -- mingled with guests at "A Green Carpet Affair." Internationally acclaimed author Harlan Coben and Bobbi Brown, CEO of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, were in attendance, as was Marty Hackel, fashion director for Golf Digest. Mr. Hackel also served as the emcee and conducted the evening's live auction.
The evening benefited Children's Aid and Family Services' Children's Health Center, which is scheduled to open in 2011, and the PGA TOUR Wives Association. The Health Center will be the first "medical home" - based primary medical care center in the country specifically for infants, children and teenagers in foster care who have medical and other special needs.
We thank everyone who supported this fantastic event, especially Patty and Kevin Conway, who generously lent their home for the evening. To view photos from "A Green Carpet Affair," click here.
