HOLIDAY ISSUE

WINE AND FOOD LOVERS DELIGHT

More than 250 agency supporters had a great time at the agency's 10th annual Wine and Food Tasting Evening that was held recently at The Woman's Club of Ridgewood. The evening's honoree was The Northern New Jersey Business Volunteer Council.

Presented by TD Bank, food was generously donated by Applebee's Neighborhood Grill and Bar, Chevy's Fresh Mex, Panera Bread, The Shannon Rose, and wines were provided by Carlo Russo's Wine and Spirit World of Ho-Ho-Kus. The evening also included a silent auction featuring vacation packages, a baseball autographed by NY Yankee great Whitey Ford, Kate Spade handbags, many fine wines and gift certificates for personal training sessions.

Proceeds from the event will support programs for infants and young children in the agency's care, including Baby Basics, which provides free nutritional formula and diapers to low-income families with infants and toddlers. Click here to view photos of the event.

                          FASHION EXTRAVAGANZA AT SAVVY CHIC

Fashion-conscious shoppers had a fantastic evening of shopping, a fashion show and a raffle with prizes -- including a designer handbag and custom jewelry -- at Savvy Chic Consignment Boutique in Ridgewood. Coordinated by Platinum Hospitality Consulting (www.platinumhospitality.biz), the holiday bash featured food and desserts donated by the Enchanted Palate (www.theenchantedpalate.com), wine provided by Divine Intervention Wine Company, wait staff offered by Memorable Events (www.memorableeventsinc.com) and a raffle prize by Venture Photography (www.venturephotography.com). Some of the girls living at the agency's Woodlea group home modeled in the fashion show. Best of all, 8% of sales from the evening is being donated to the agency. Many thanks to Savvy Chic and Platinum Hospitality Consulting for a fun event!

"WRAP YOURSELF IN LOVE"
EVENT AT ARTHUR GROOM & CO.

Arthur Groom & Co. recently hosted the festive "Wrap Yourself in Love" event that launched the raffle of the "Love Emerald," created by Arthur Groom especially for the agency's spring gala. Guests were greeted by "paparazzi" as they strode a red carpet to enter Arthur Groom & Co, where they received gift cards to use to purchase a dazzling present for that special someone or themselves. Raffle tickets to the "Love Emerald" were on sale. Children from the agency's Path group home sang a special holiday song and dancers from Marianne's School of Dance performed in the window as Santa Claus handed out treats. What's more, 25% of sales from December 7 – 11
were donated to the agency.

Raffle tickets for the "Love Emerald" are available at Arthur Groom & Co., 262 E. Ridgewood Avenue, Ridgewood, NJ and cost $20 apiece or 6 for $100.
