A Green Carpet Affair

An incredible opportunity to mingle with more than 25 PGA Tour players at a private home in Saddle River is still available. "A Green Carpet Affair," presented by Sentient Jet, is scheduled for Tuesday, August 24, 2010 from 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. The evening's activities include the chance to chip with the PGA TOUR players, a silent and live auction featuring one-of-a-kind adventures, as well as lavish hors d'oeuvres and cocktails.

The auctions will feature exclusive items, such as a vacation package that includes rounds of golf with PGA Tour professional Dustin Johnson and another with Kenny Perry, two tickets to Fashion Week with designer Tory Burch, an unforgettable wine experience in Tuscany, a wine tasting to be held in the winner's home, a private jet charter excursion with Sentient Jet, and the opportunity to be named as a character in acclaimed author Harlan Coben's next book.

The PGA TOUR wives are hosting the fundraiser the week of The Barclays to raise money for the PGA TOUR Wives Association, a 501(c)3 organization whose mission is to render support and provide assistance to needy children and their families through the means of charitable events, and Children's Aid and Family Services.

Our 10^th annual Wine & Food Tasting Event is Friday, November 12, 2010 from 7:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. at the Woman's Club of Ridgewood in Ridgewood, NJ. This popular and fun event benefits Baby Basics and other programs supporting vulnerable children. Bring your child, niece, nephew or grandchild to see their favorite furry friend, Elmo, and help babies in need. From September 30 – October 3, Children's Aid and Family Services will host a Baby Basics drive at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, in conjunction with Sesame Street Live, Elmo's Healthy Heroes. Baby Basics provides free nutritional formula, diapers and other baby essentials to low-income families with children ages newborn through 2 years from distribution sites in Carlstadt, Englewood, Paramus and Ridgewood. Your donation of diapers (sizes 4-6), baby wipes and bibs are greatly appreciated. There will be collection bins at each entry-way of the IZOD Center for your donations.
