Our Community Helping Vulnerable Children

Community partnerships and events are some of the ways we are helping the vulnerable children and families we serve. There are great creative ways to get involved and help support the programs.

PGA Ticket Fore Charity

A reminder to all of you golf aficionados planning on attending this year's Barclays PGA Tour on August 27 – 30, 2009. Purchase your tickets online and Children's Aid and Family Services will receive 75 percent of the net proceeds.

Multi-Town Yard Sale

The agency is seeking participants to either hold an individual yard sale at their home or be part of a community sale at Children's Aid and Family Services' Riggs House, 148 Prospect Street, Ridgewood, NJ on Saturday, October 3, 2009.

Wine & Food Tasting Evening

Save the Date! This year's Wine & Food Tasting is Saturday, October 24, 2009, at St. Leon's Church in Fair Lawn. Tickets cost $75, and there will be a silent auction full of fun and unique items.

Get Involved and Help Make a Difference

There are plenty of fun ways you can help. Perhaps your child needs a community service project for school or the Scouts, or your company is seeking to become more active in the community. Organizing a drive to benefit one of our programs, such as Baby Basics or Read Now!, or for specific items for the children in our care, is a great way to support the work of the agency.
