(Paramus, NJ) November 2, 2007 - Looking for a creative, one-of-a-kind holiday gift this season? Look no further than RIDGEWOODOPOLY, Children's Aid and Family Services' adaptation of the classic board game. Instead of the familiar Atlantic City streets, this game consists of Ridgewood properties and people.
RIDGEWOODOPOLY is a special gift that will be remembered for years to come. "Most of us have played the original game, but how many people can say they've played RIDGEWOODOPOLY?," says Liz Mason, executive vice president. "In addition to being a fun and unique gift, all proceeds of game sales directly benefit the vulnerable children and families the agency serves."
RIDGEWOODOPOLY is available for $25, and can be purchased at the following village locations: Ben & Jerry's Ridgewood Scoop Shop, Best of Everything, Happy Tuesday, Harding Pharmacy, Hillman Electric, Welcome Aboard Travel and The Silver Spoon gourmet food market. Games are also being sold at The Depot in Midland Park. You may also purchase the game from Children's Aid and Family Services, by calling Cyndy Mitchell at 201-261-2800.
Children's Aid and Family Services is one of the largest regional, nonprofit human services organizations serving northern New Jersey. The agency is fully accredited and has served the community for more than 100 years. Its mission is to
preserve, protect and, when needed, provide families. Motivated by compassion for vulnerable children, young adults, frail elderly and their families, it provides high-quality and innovative services that meet their social, educational and emotional needs.
