(Paramus, NJ) February 2, 2007 - RIDGEWOODOPOLY, Children's Aid and Family Services' adaptation of the classic board game, is available for just $25. The game looks much like its popular inspiration, but instead of the familiar Atlantic City streets, it consists of Ridgewood properties and people. Each space on the board is occupied with the name and/or logo of a Ridgewood business.
RIDGEWOODOPOLY makes a unique gift that will be remembered for years to come -- whether given as a birthday present, a Valentine's treat, or a housewarming gift for a new village resident. And, most important, the proceeds of game sales directly benefit the vulnerable children and families the agency serves. "This fundraising effort has proven immensely popular with village residents, and games are going fast," says Liz Mason, executive vice president.
To purchase RIDGEWOODOPOLY, call Cyndy Mitchell at 201-261-2800. RIDGEWOODOPOLY can also be purchased at the following village locations: Ben & Jerry's Ridgewood Scoop Shop, Best of Everything, Happy Tuesday, Hillman Electric, and The Silver Spoon gourmet food market. Games are also being sold at The Depot in Midland Park.
Children's Aid and Family Services is one of the largest regional, nonprofit human services organizations serving northern New Jersey.
