(Paramus, NJ) March 2, 2007 - GLENROCKOPOLY, The Glen Rock Women In Community Services' (WICS) and Children's Aid and Family Services' unique fundraising effort, has created a tremendous buzz in the borough. In fact, the support for GLENROCKOPOLY has been so popular, there's only one business space left! Boiling Springs Savings Bank, The Clara E. Coleman School, Glen Rock Digital Photo, Paredes-Grube Architecture, Rock Café, Sasha's Hair and Day Spa, and Taylormade Jewelers are just a few of the several businesses that have purchased spots on the board.
The game will look much like its popular inspiration, but instead of the familiar Atlantic City streets, it will consist of Glen Rock properties and people. Each space on the board will be occupied with the name and/or logo of a Glen Rock business. Once the final business space is filled, individuals will have the opportunity to have their name listed prominently on the game board.
Act now and jump on board, because once these spaces are filled, it's final. Don't miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to promote your businesses' services to the community, become an immortalized citizen in the borough's history, and most important, support the Glen Rock WICS and Children's Aid and Family Services. Preorders are available now, and there are still a limited number of patron spots available for $50 each. Completed games will be sold for $25 each.
Glen Rock Women In Community Services (WICS) is a group of devoted women who support local programs, including Emmanuel Cancer Foundation, Meals on Wheels, Shelter Our Sisters, and the Center for Food Action. Glen Rock WICS also sponsors community events, such as the borough's Halloween Parade and Spelling Bee for the 4th and 5th graders.
Children's Aid and Family Services is one of the largest regional, nonprofit human services organizations serving northern New Jersey. The agency is fully accredited and has more than 100 years of experience in building futures for children, families, and communities. Its mission is to help children, families, and communities to heal, to learn, and to grow. To purchase a spot on the board, or a completed game, call Cyndy Mitchell at 201-261-2800.
