(Paramus, NJ) September 7, 2011 - Ashley Rhodes-Courter, author of the New York Times bestselling novel, "Three Little Words," described her experiences in foster care at a reception hosted by Children's Aid and Family Services and the PGA TOUR Wives Association. The event benefitted Children's Aid and Family Services' Medical Services and Advocacy Center for children in foster care and the PGA TOUR Wives Association's designated charities, including "Blessings in a Backpack." Harlan Coben served as emcee.
Rhodes-Courter was only 3 years old when she entered the foster care system. She lived with 14 different foster families before being adopted at age 12. Rhodes-Courter is passionate about giving a voice to children in foster care. She said that it only takes one person to make a difference in a foster child's life.

PGA TOUR Wives Association, Inc, is a Florida not-for-profit corporation organized to render support and provide assistance to needy children and their families through the means of charitable events.
The Association was incorporated in 1988 by wives of professional golfers on the PGA TOUR.
