Marion & Robert B. Jones, Ph.D.

(Paramus, NJ)-October 25, 2011 – Children's Aid and Family Services is honoring Marion and Bob Jones for 25 years of dedication to the agency at its annual Wine and Food Tasting Evening. This year's event is Friday, November 4, 2011 from 7:30 – 11:00 p.m. at The Woman's Club of Ridgewood, 215 W. Ridgewood Avenue, Ridgewood, NJ. Sponsors of the event include TD Bank, United Water, Atlantic Stewardship Bank, Sobel & Co., LLC, Ellen and Michael Jacobs and Media Sponsor Town News.

Dr. Jones joined the agency in 1986. He oversaw the growth of a small local family service provider to one of the largest children's and family service organizations in New Jersey, by facilitating the 1995 merger of Children's Aid and Adoption Society of New Jersey and Family Counseling Service of Ridgewood and Vicinity. He has extensive experience in the fields of child welfare, family services and mental health. Dr. Jones obtained his Ph.D. from Rutgers University.
Marion Jones spent the early years of her career teaching art to children and serving as assistant art director at McGraw Hill before entering the field of social work. She was a psychotherapist for 30 years before returning to her roots as an artist. Mrs. Jones holds a BFA from the University of Colorado and an MSW from Columbia University.

Ticket prices are $75 and $150. Proceeds support programs for infants and young children in the agency's care. The event also includes a silent auction. To purchase tickets, visit www.cafsnj.org or call the Development Office at 201.261.2800.
