(Paramus, NJ)- October 4, 2011 – People foster a child for many reasons. They want to help a child in need of love and nurturing. Their own children are grown and they miss family life. They want to give back to the community and believe fostering is the way to make a positive difference in the future.
Children's Aid and Family Services is holding an open house for anyone interested in learning about fostering or adopting a child on Thursday, November 10, 2011, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at IKEA 2nd Level Restaurant, 100 IKEA Drive in Paramus, NJ. The agency is seeking loving individuals and couples to care for medically needy infants and toddlers. There will be a complimentary continental breakfast and a raffle for a gift basket.
Foster parents receive a financial stipend, training and support. Additionally, children in foster care have health insurance coverage.
