Children's Aid and Family Services' spring gala auction will feature several prizes to help make this dream a reality, including vacations to beach spots such as Bermuda, Florida and Chicoteague Island. Other prizes include fabulous golf packages, an Apple iPad, a Weber S320LP gas grill and autographed sports memorabilia.
Children's Aid and Family Services' eighth annual gala is to be held on Thursday, April 7, 2011, from 7:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. at the Venetian in Garfield, NJ. Guests will enjoy a buffet, open bar, silent and live auctions and be treated to a performance by Caledon, the world-renowned Scottish tenors. Ridgewood residents Dr. Anne Armstrong-Coben and Doris Hansmann will be honored.
Additionally, Arthur Groom & Co. has generously donated the exquisite "Love Emerald" necklace, which will be raffled during the event. Created especially for the gala, the pear-shaped emerald surrounded by diamonds is 15 carats and is valued at $40,000.
