(Paramus, NJ) February 11, 2011 – Paramus-based Turrell Child Care & Early Learning Center, a division of Children's Aid and Family Services, is presenting "There's no Place Like School: Enhancing Your Classroom Environment" on Saturday, March 12, 2011, from 8:00 a.m.- 1:30 p.m. at 200 Robin Road, Paramus, NJ. This workshop is geared toward early childhood education professionals, and participants will receive a certificate for four hours of professional development. Presenters include Cindy Sobel, head teacher, Paterson Family Center, ACT Community Trained Leader; Susan Gellert, MS.Ed., Consultant, Early Childhood Education; Cindy Gennarelli, M.Ed. and Liz Morgado, M.Ed.
The workshops include "Creating Authentic Units of Study," "Creating Developmentally Appropriate Environments for Infants and Toddlers," and "The Silent Teacher."
