(Paramus, NJ) April15, 2011 – Children's Aid and Family Services is holding an open house for anyone interested in learning about fostering or adopting a child on Thursday, May 12, 2011, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the YMCA of Montclair, Geyer Family YMCA, 159 Glenridge Avenue in Montclair, NJ. The agency is seeking loving and nurturing individuals and couples to care for medically needy infants and toddlers, as well as older children in its care. There will be light refreshments and a raffle for a gift basket.
Foster parents receive a financial stipend, as well as comprehensive training and support from the agency. Additionally, children in foster care have health insurance coverage.
