(Paramus, NJ) - September 22, 2010 – Bring your child, niece, nephew or grandchild to see their favorite furry friend, Elmo, and help babies in need. From September 30 – October 3, 2010, Children's Aid and Family Services will host a Baby Basics drive at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, in conjunction with Sesame Street Live, Elmo's Healthy Heroes. Baby Basics provides free nutritional formula, diapers and other baby essentials to low-income families with children ages newborn through 2 years from distribution sites in Carlstadt, Englewood, Paramus and Ridgewood. Those attending Sesame Street Live – Elmo’s Healthy Heroes are asked to bring a donation of diapers (sizes 4 – 6), baby wipes or bibs. There will be collection bins at the entrance of the IZOD Center for your donations.
In addition, Children's Aid and Family Services has a limited number of tickets for the October 1st and October 2nd shows for sale. A percentage of each ticket sold will be donated to the agency. To order your tickets online, visit www.cafsnj.org.
