Preschool students from Turrell Child Care & Early Learning Center learned about fire safety from the Paramus Fire Department during Fire Prevention Week. |
(Paramus, NJ) October 6, 2010 – Members of the Paramus Fire Department visited Turrell Child Care & Early Learning Center for Fire Prevention Week. They taught the children about the importance of smoke detectors in helping to prevent fires. They also had several of the children participate in the stop, drop and roll fire safety technique.
The Turrell Center is fully licensed and accredited. It serves infants and children from ages eight weeks to kindergarten, with an age-appropriate curriculum, nutritious meals and snacks and part- and full-time schedules, as well as extended hours.
Children's Aid and Family Services is one of the largest nonprofit human services organizations serving northern New Jersey.
