(Paramus, NJ) November 23, 2010 - Ridgewood-based Arthur Groom & Co. is hosting the "Wrap Yourself in Love" event on Friday, December 10, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. at 262 E. Ridgewood Avenue in Ridgewood, NJ. The event is co-hosted with members of Children's Aid and Family Services' gala committee: S. Bayne Belair, Roseanne Castrillon, Jennifer Cohen, Jennifer Contrucci, Bernadette Davis, Christine Dunn, Martha Fickinger, Brenda Gallagher, Tracey Gerber, Wendy Girard, Ellen Goodman, Beth Jorgensen, Jacqueline Laurita, Suzanne McCarthy, Patti McKillip, Nina Sharma, Nancy Slott, Kathy Schwartz, Andrea Visser, Kelly Welsh and Carol Whaley.
25 percent of all fine jewelry purchases at Arthur Groom & Co. during the evening will be donated to the agency (excluding solitaire engagement rings). The event also will feature fabulous door prizes -- including magnificent jewelry from Arthur Groom & Co. and spa gift certificates from Ridgewood European Day Spa -- complimentary drinks and hors d'oeuvres, special celebrity guests, a dance performance by some of the foster children in the agency's care, a holiday giving tree to help these children, a show-stopping window display, as well as the launch of a raffle of the "Love Emerald" necklace. This pear-shaped 15-carat Eternity™ Natural emerald, surrounded by diamonds and valued at $40,000, is being donated to the agency by Mr. Groom and will be raffled at the agency's spring gala. Raffle tickets, which make great stocking stuffers, will be available at the "Wrap Yourself in Love" event and cost $20 apiece or $100 for six.
