(Paramus, NJ) May 11, 2010 – Capping off a week of activities related to Earth Day, preschool children at Paramus-based Turrell Child Care & Early Learning Center recently learned how to recycle paper. The children worked on the project by ripping up old newspapers into small pieces, soaking the bits in water, placing them on a screen and using a rolling pin to squeeze the water out of the paper. The children will make cards from the recycled paper after it dries.
