Baby Basics Drive at The Wiggles "Wiggly Circus"
(Paramus, NJ) July 26, 2010 - On Tuesday, August 17, 2010, Children's Aid and Family Services will host a Baby Basics drive at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, NJ, in conjunction with The Wiggles "Wiggly Circus." The agency's Baby Basics program provides free nutritional formula, diapers and other baby essentials to low-income families with children ages newborn through 2 years from distribution sites in Carlstadt, Englewood, Paramus and Ridgewood. Those attending the Wiggly Circus are asked to bring a donation of diapers (sizes 4 – 6), baby wipes or bibs. There will be collection bins at the entrance to the IZOD Center.
The Wiggly Circus features acrobats, clowns, gymnast, cancers, trapeze artists, as well as Sam, Jeff, Anthony and Murray of The Wiggles along with Wiggly friends Wags the Dog, Dorothy the Dinosaur, Henry the Octopus and Captain Feathersword. Children's Aid and Family Services has a limited number of tickets for sale for the 2:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. shows on August 17. A percentage of each ticket sold will be donated to the agency.
