(Paramus, NJ) December 14, 2010 Arthur Groom & Co. of Ridgewood, NJ recently hosted the "Wrap Yourself in Love" event that launched the raffle of the "Love Emerald." Created especially for Children's Aid and Family Services' "Love is All You Need" spring gala, this 15-carat emerald, surrounded by diamonds and worth $40,000, will be raffled on Thursday, April 7, 2011.
Guests were greeted by "paparazzi" as they strode a red carpet to enter Arthur Groom & Co., where they received gift cards used to purchase a dazzling present for that special someone or themselves. Children from the agency's group home for foster children sang a special holiday song and dancers from Marianne's School of Dance in Paramus performed in the store's window as Santa Claus handed out treats. Some of the guests won door prizes, including jewelry from Arthur Groom and a gift basket to Ridgewood European Day Spa. Additionally, 25 percent of sales from December 7 – 11 were donated to the agency.
Raffle tickets, which make great stocking stuffers, are available at Arthur Groom & Co, 262 E. Ridgewood Avenue, Ridgewood, NJ and also at www.cafsnj.org. They cost $20 apiece or $100 for six.
