(Paramus, NJ) August 3, 2010 – The Community Chest Serving Englewood, Tenafly and Englewood Cliffs has given a $5,000 grant to Children’s Aid and Family Services’ Baby Basics program. Baby Basics provides free nutritional formula, diapers and other baby essentials to low-income families with children ages newborn through 2 years from distribution sites in Carlstadt, Englewood, Paramus and Ridgewood.
“We’re enormously grateful for the Community Chest’s generous support, especially in this challenging economic climate, when more families with infants and toddlers are being served by the program than ever,” says Bob Jones, Ph.D., president & CEO of Children’s Aid and Family Services.
