Help Babies and Children on Mother's Day Weekend
at Paramus Park Shopping Center

(Paramus, NJ)  April 23, 2010 – On Saturday, May 8, 2010, Paramus Park Shopping Center is celebrating Mother's Day by helping to build and support families. Paramus-based Children's Aid and Family Services, which helps children who don't have families able to care for them, as well as provides support to families navigating life's everyday challenges, will be accepting donations to its Baby Basics program from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. in the Macy's wing of the mall. This program provides free nutritional formula and diapers to low-income families in Bergen County with children ages 2 and younger. Shoppers who donate baby essentials valued at $20 -- including diapers, wipes, hygienic supplies, clothes, toys or a gift card -- will receive a $20 gift card to Paramus Park Shopping Center while supplies last.

Additionally, a staff member from Children's Aid and Family Services will be there to speak to anyone interested in learning about fostering or adopting a child or adolescent. "The need is great for both of these critical programs, and we are grateful to Paramus Park Shopping Center for helping us reach out to the community," says Bob Jones, Ph.D., president & CEO of Children's Aid and Family Services.

"We are pleased to support Children's Aid and Family Services and its commitment to finding caring parents for children in foster care, as well as helping families in need," says Minnie Adams, general manager, Paramus Park Shopping Center.
