(l. – r.): Liz Mason, executive vice president, Children's Aid and Family Services; Randy S. Meyers, assistant vice president, Ridgewood manager, TD Bank; Bob Jones, Ph.D., president & CEO, Children's Aid and Family Services; and Dennis McSherry, regional vice president, Northern Bergen, TD Bank

(Paramus, NJ) January 22, 2009  TD Bank, through its charitable giving arm the TD Charitable Foundation, has given a generous $9,500 grant to Children's Aid and Family Services to help provide funding for the agency's Life Skills Youth Development Program. This program teaches critical skills to the foster children in the agency's care -- such as budgeting, money management, job search, interviewing and resume writing, in addition to providing them with valuable education and support -- helping them to attain self sufficiency and successfully transition to independent living when they become young adults.

"We're tremendously grateful for TD Bank's support," says Bob Jones, Ph.D., president & CEO of Children's Aid and Family Services. "This donation will help us to continue to teach the children in our care skills that are vital to their future success."
