Children's Aid and Family Services 6th Annual Gala
"There's No Place Like Home"
| (Paramus, NJ ) February 5, 2009 – Children's Aid and Family Services is pleased to announce that several corporations, foundations and individuals have agreed to sponsor its annual fundraiser. This year's gala, "There's No Place Like Home," follows the theme of the all-time classic movie The Wizard of Oz. Itwill be held on Friday, March 27, 2009 at the Hackensack Golf Club in Oradell, NJ.
Sponsors for the event include Helen's Hope Foundation-as an Emerald City sponsor, Applebee's, Irwin Franchise Capital Corporation, Boiling Springs Savings Bank, Brenda & Frank Gallagher, Mutual of America, TD Bank, Toys"R"Us, Inc.,Wyeth and Town News.
"We are thrilled that these community-minded corporations are participating as sponsors in this year's gala," says Madinah Grier, director of development and communications. "In this economic climate, we need their help more than ever before. We also hope more businesses and individuals will participate in this event that promises to be a fun night for our supporters, as well as an important fundraiser for the agency."
All monies raised will support the vulnerable children and families we service as well as other agency programs, such as the Turrell Childcare & Early Learning Center; Baby Basics, which supplies diapers and formula to low-income families; the Thomas R.S. Burgin Fund, which to helps college-bound young adults.
