(Paramus, NJ) March 14, 2008 - Imagine going to a cocktail party with 12 of your friends featuring bestselling author Harlan Coben. Perhaps you'd like to spend game day at Giants Stadium getting a tour from New York Giants' great Jim Burt. Maybe you've always dreamed of taking to the skies in your own private plane for a ride to Cape Cod/Nantucket.
These are just a handful of the once-in-a-lifetime opportunities and experiences featured in the live and silent auctions at Children's Aid and Family Services' Beach Party gala. The agency's annual spring fundraiser is on Friday, March 28, 2008, at The Hackensack Golf Club in Oradell. Corporate sponsors of the event include Irwin Franchise Capital Corporation, Applebee's, BD, Boiling Springs Savings Bank, Commerce Bank, Hudson City Savings Bank, Mutual of America, TD Banknorth,
Toys "R" Us, Inc., Wyeth and Prestige Lexus.
"This year's gala has an abundance of one-of-a-kind items, including a ride for a child on the Zamboni at Madison Square Garden, a stay at a lovely vacation home on Kiawah Island, and an exquisite emerald and diamond ring designed by Arthur Groom & Co. of Ridgewood," says Liz Mason, executive vice president. "More important, you'll be directly benefiting the vulnerable children and teenagers in the agency's care by attending the gala and participating in these exciting auctions."
The 5th annual gala will include a cocktail hour, buffet dinner, open bar throughout the evening, a DJ, raffle, and live and silent auctions. Tickets start at $150. Online registration is available at www.cafsnj.org. For tickets or more information, please call Madinah Grier at 201-261-2800.
