(Paramus, NJ) February 25, 2008 - Children's Aid and Family Services will be part of Clear Channel Outdoor's inaugural New Jersey digital billboard advertising effort. Clear Channel Outdoor has donated advertising space on four digital billboards for a four-week period to the agency. Each ad is an 8-second spot, and will run every 64 seconds. The images on the digital billboards can be changed instantaneously throughout the day, and Children's Aid and Family Services will run three different ads.
Because of the generosity of an anonymous donor, the agency has increased its efforts to bring attention to the plight of children who need foster and adoptive parents. It has previously worked with Clear Channel Outdoor to advertise on traditional highway billboards in prominent locations throughout northern New Jersey.
"We're extremely grateful for this generous donation from Clear Channel Outdoor, and are excited about being part of this new technology," said Liz Mason, executive vice president, Children's Aid and Family Services. "It will help us get our message to prospective adoptive and foster parents, and increase awareness of the agency's work."
The digital billboards are set to launch on Monday, March 3, 2008, at the following locations: I-95 south of Paterson Plank Road, I-280 west of the Stickel Bridge, I-78 east of the Garden State Parkway, and I-80 west of exit 58.
"We believe in supporting the community in which we operate," says Mitchell Schwartz, Director of Government and Public Affairs, Clear Channel Outdoor. "And we're very pleased to include Children's Aid and Family Services in this effort, and help them communicate their mission."
Children's Aid and Family Services is one of the largest regional, nonprofit human services organizations serving northern New Jersey. The agency is fully accredited and has served the community for more than 100 years. Its mission is to preserve, protect and, when needed, provide families. Motivated by compassion for vulnerable children, young adults, frail elderly and their families, it provides high-quality and innovative services that meet their social, educational and emotional needs.
