(Paramus, NJ) February 14, 2008 - Children's Aid and Family Services' Special Event Committee is ready for a party, a Beach party to be exact. This dedicated group is eagerly anticipating the agency's fifth annual Beach Party-themed gala, taking place on Friday, March 28, 2008, at The Hackensack Golf Club in Oradell, NJ. They have been diligently working behind-the-scenes, soliciting top-notch auction items and doing everything to ensure this year's gala will be memorable and fun-filled.

Several corporations have signed on as sponsors, including Applebee's, BD, Boiling Springs Savings Bank, Commerce Bank, Irwin Franchise Capital Corporation, Mutual of America, Prestige Lexus, TD Banknorth, Toys"R"Us, Inc., and Wyeth.

The 5th annual gala will include a cocktail hour, buffet dinner, open bar throughout the evening, a DJ, raffle, and live and silent auctions featuring exciting travel packages and once-in-a-lifetime experiences, including the chance to win a stay at a lovely waterfront home in Sag Harbor, Long Island, a tour of Giants Stadium with a former Pro-Bowler, and a weekend getaway at a 265-room Victorian Castle in the mountains.

All monies raised at the gala are used to help the agency's clients. For instance, proceeds from past events allowed the agency to build its educational support fund and assist young adults with college and other post-secondary training costs, provide diapers and formula to low-income families, and recruit foster and adoptive parents for children whose only wish is a loving, nurturing family.

Tickets for the 2008 gala start at $150. Online registration is available at www.cafsnj.org. For tickets, sponsorships, or more information, please call Madinah Grier at 201-261-2800.
