(Paramus, NJ) May 10, 2007 - Trading in their spreadsheets and calculators for arts and crafts projects and games of tag, employees of Goldman, Sachs & Co. recently volunteered at Paramus-based Turrell Child Care & Early Learning Center. Through the firm's Charitable Services Community TeamWorks program, the volunteers spent the day helping teachers at the Turrell Center by reading to the children, joining in play groups, overseeing arts and crafts projects, and helping out on the playground.

"The children were thrilled to spend the day with the volunteers," says Liz Mason, executive vice president. "We're most grateful to the employees of Goldman Sachs for generously giving their time to us."

The Turrell Center serves children ages 2 months - kindergarten, and features an integrated, age-appropriate curriculum; excellent teacher-to-child ratio; and an on-site commercial kitchen where nutritious meals are prepared.
