(Ridgewood, NJ) May 3, 2007 - Commerce Bank of Ridgewood and Children's Aid and Family Services' are collaborating on a fantastic fundraising effort, the Affinity Membership Program. When new customers sign up for an account at Commerce Bank's 133 Franklin Avenue branch, and pledge Children's Aid and Family Services' as their organization of choice, the bank will make a donation to the agency.
The bank will make an annual donation based on the average balance in all pledged members' accounts. Checking, Savings, Money Market, CD and Retirement accounts are all included in the program. Those who are already Commerce customers can simply visit any Commerce location and ask to have their balance included as part of Children's Aid and Family Services' Affinity Membership Program. Additionally, Commerce Bank will deposit $25 into first-time members' accounts when they open a checking or savings account.
Please visit the Ridgewood branch at 133 Franklin Avenue on Saturday, May 19, to sign up for this program. Branch manager Vicky Swartz will be at the bank to answer customers' questions and provide any additional information. All donations will directly benefit the vulnerable children and families the agency serves.
