(Ridgewood, NJ) March 28, 2007 - Several troops of Ridge School Girl Scouts recently conducted a drive to benefit Baby Basics. This vital program, run by Children's Aid and Family Services, provides nutritional and hygienic essentials for babies, along with parent education and support to low-income working families in Bergen County.
The girls collected 61 packs of wipes, 56 packages of diapers, 15 cans of formula, as well as much needed extras, including baby wash, lotion, clothing, cribs, and bottles. For more information on how you can organize a drive and help this vital program, please call Shakeemah Smith, Baby Basics program coordinator, at (201) 445-7015.
