(Paramus, NJ) June 28, 2007 - Thanks to a generous grant from the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the New York Tri-State Area (RMHC-NYTSA), children attending the Turrell Child Care & Early Learning Center, a division of Children's Aid and Family Services, are enjoying increased safety and security.

Security cameras were recently installed and now dot the perimeter of the parking lot, as well as the playgrounds and entranceway to the Turrell Center. All activity on the cameras is monitored at a computer workstation in the reception area, and several key members of the senior management staff also have the ability to tap into the security system software at any time. For added safety, all camera data is recorded and back up tapes are kept.

"The parents of the children attending the Turrell Center are thrilled with this security measure," says Bob Jones, Ph.D., president & CEO, Children's Aid and Family Services. "We're enormously grateful to Ronald McDonald House Charities of the New York Tri-State Area for helping us to increase the safety of the children."

Additionally, the grant will help to fund the resurfacing of the infant/toddler playground at the Turrell Center, ensuring the little ones continue to enjoy the outdoors safely.
