(Ridegwood, NJ) June 21, 2007 - Children's Aid and Family Services is offering a summer Social Skills Program for children ages 4 - 9 in July. The program is geared toward enhancing children's self-esteem, communications skills, and ability to interact with others. Children will learn how to identify and talk about their feelings, listen attentively, cope with bullying, resolve conflicts, and adapt to new situations.
The summer Social Skills program will begin on Monday, July 9, 2007, at 7:00 p.m. with a parent orientation, and the children will meet Tuesday and Thursday afternoons for one hour each session from July 10 - July 31, 2007.
Children's Aid and Family Services is one of the largest regional, nonprofit human services organizations serving northern New Jersey.
