Medical Services and Advocacy Center
Most children in foster care have never experienced consistent, high quality medical care.
The Medical Services and Advocacy Center provides direct medical care, services and coordination to meet the complex medical needs of the special needs infants, children and teenagers in agency foster care programs.
Our Center offers a pioneering, team-based approach that makes available to these children precisely the type of high quality, consistent medical care needed to complement the therapeutic and psychiatric support they are given to help them heal and move forward with their lives. Children’s Aid and Family Services is one of the few child’s treatment agencies to offer this vital service. It is funded by our donors.
