Administrative Support:
Coordinator – Development Department (1/FT): To provide project management and administrative support to the development department. Key responsibilities include: donor management, special events and community relations.Requires: Minimum of a high school diploma, technical/secretarial certificate and five years of experience working in a similar environment, expert computer knowledge including 2007 Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher, experience with Raiser's Edge, Photoshop, Quark Express and Access a plus.Must have excellent communication skills – oral & written, highly developed organization skills, attention to detail and the ability to work some evenings as needed. Salary range: Mid to high $30s
Case Management:
Specialist, Permanency & Foster Care – Adoption Services (1/FT): To provide supervision and case management services to infants/children residing in agency foster homes. Provide options counseling, therapeutic support, linkage to resources advocacy and mediation services to bio-family to assist them in achieving DYFS goals for family reunification. Requires: Master's level professional with appropriate licensure, prior experience working with children and families, adoption/foster care experience preferred, excellent communication skills – oral & written, excellent case management skills, valid driver's license/good driving history, use of a car for own transportation, knowledge of universal adoption issues and drug/alcohol abuse a plus.Salary: High $30s
Clinician:
Sr. Clinician/Per Diem: To provide therapeutic services - individual, marital, family, group, and psycho-educational, according to professional and agency standards and within the purview established by professional licensure. Requires: MSW/LCSW, MA/LPC or MA/MFT, strong clinical and communication skills. Computer literacy essential.Hourly rate: $41
Direct Care
Direct Support Professional – DD Program (FT & PT): To support individuals in maintaining their independence and empowering them to become integrated members of their communities.To establish a therapeutic milieu and deliver effective treatment services through positive behavioral supports and professionalism. Responsible for the care and supervision of up to 4 clients living in a community residence. Requires: Minimum of a high school diploma, three years working with children/adolescent with developmental disabilities, good communication skills, and a valid driver's license/good driving history.Preferred: Bachelor's degree, experience working with the developmentally disabled.Salary: High $20s – low $30s
Behavior Support Specialist - In-Home CPEP – Developmental Disabilities Program (PT) – To provide in-home, one to one supervision to children who are identified as having developmental disabilities and behavioral problems.Responsibilities include: Implementing behavioral plans, providing personal care, and integrating the child into their community.Requires: a minimum of a High school diploma or equivalent, one year experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or children who are behaviorally challenged, good communication skills – oral & written, ability to implement positive behavioral supports, the ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, valid driver's license and the use of own vehicle for self-transportation.Hourly rate commensurate with qualifications and experience.
House Manager – DD Program (1/FT): To establish a therapeutic milieu and the delivery of effective treatment services to the residents and staff, through positive role-modeling and professionalism.The house manager is responsible for the day-to-day functioning and management of the DD community residence.Requires: Minimum of a high school diploma with three years experience working with children/adolescents with challenging behaviors, strong organization and communication skills- oral & written, good report writing ability, computer literacy and a valid driver's license/good driving history.Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a related field, experience working with the developmentally disabled and supervisory experience.Salary: Mid to high $30s
Live-in Professional House Parents – Treatment Homes Program: Do you love parenting and like to make a difference?We are seeking Professional Foster Parents (FT positions/multiple locations in northern NJ) to provide in-home, therapeutic foster care for 4-6 teenagers.Candidates need to be in a committed relationship, role models able to help vulnerable teenagers achieve their full potential, and willing to provide them a loving, stable, family home life. Several positions available for committed couples who understand the importance of family and are willing to pursue a career dedicated to helping our teenagers develop life skills for future independence and active involvement in the community. The agency pays a salary and benefits to one stay-at-home parent, while the co-parent is not an employee of the agency and may work outside the home. You must secure your co-parent's support when applying and both of you should be committed to creating a supportive home environment and playing an active role in the daily lives of either male or female adolescents living in one ofthe agency's single-family Professional Parent homes. Alternatively, if you have your own home and it is of sufficient size and meets licensing regulations, the agency would also like to hear from you as other options are available.Regular weekends off and the daily support of a youth counselor are provided. This is the ideal job for empty-nesters who miss day-to-day parenting. We also welcome couples of all ages unless they have children less than 14 years of age. Requirements: At least 21 years of age; a minimum of a high school diploma (or equivalent); one-year NJ driver's license and a good driving history; must secure own co-parent who will reside full-time in the home provided/approved by the agency and also meet driving requirements above. Experience working in teaching, coaching, working in foster care or residential programs is a plus. Youth Counselor – Group Homes Program (FT): To serve as a role model and therapeutic change agent for children as young as five years old up to eighteen years of age(up to 8 residents) living in a group home setting. Responsible for supervising, transporting, daily care and program routines.Requires: minimum of a bachelor's degree or high school diploma with three years experience working with emotionally disturbed children, valid driver's license/good driving history. Schedule: Live-in: 2 ½ days/63 hrs per week, days may vary.Must be able to work weekends if needed.Salary range: High $20s. Substitute positions available - $9.50 per hour.
Youth Counselor - Overnight – Path Group Homes (1/FT): To provide overnight supervision to children living in a group home setting.Responsible for conducting room checks every 15 minutes, completing logs, securing the home, minor household duties.Requires: minimum of a high school diploma, prior experience working with children, good communication/decision making skills and a valid driver's license/good driving history. Schedule: 45 hours per week, Sunday – Thursday: 11pm – 8am Hourly Rate: $11
